Project Challenges:

The project involved working on a ‘live’ door that accessed the theatres from the very busy maternity unit. The corridor had four access/egress points.
We successfully carried out the work in this area by close liaison with the Matron, Ward Managers and Clinical Team.

Project feedback:

Very positive feedback was received from the Trust on the quality of the installation. The installation of the doors successfully improved the flow of patients as well as the security of the area.
