Our Projects division has 60 years of success in delivering Mechanical and Electrical services safely and reliably. We are proud to be part of the NHS SBS Framework Agreement for Hard Facilities Management and undertake projects across the Northwest region.

James Dodd
Managing Director
James is a company director with more than 20 years of experience in the property & construction industry. He handles the strategic direction of the Group.

Mark Calvert-Jones
Finance Director
Mark is an FCCA qualified accountant with over 15 years of experience working in senior finance positions across varied industries, specialising in growth and change. He has responsibility for the Finance, HR, Procurement and Commercial functions.

Michelle Miles
Operations Director
Michelle manages the Group’s administrative operations, ensuring seamless workflow efficiency through automation and the integration of cutting-edge software and field service technology. She is also responsible for compliance and health & safety, ensuring all processes adhere to industry regulations and best practices.

Lawrence Soni
Commercial Director
As Commercial Director, Lawrence plays a critical role in driving sustainable growth, enhancing financial performance, and securing the organisation's commercial success. He combines strategic, financial, and operational expertise to optimise business outcomes, maintain contractual compliance, and support a collaborative culture of high performance.

Jason Dunn
M&E Services Director - Healthcare
Jason has extensive experience in working with Healthcare Trusts across the region. A time-served electrician, Jason has been with the company for 35 years.

Mechanical Projects Director
Having worked at a senior level within various building services organisations, Joe brings a wealth of experience to the company.

Darren Hayes
Electrical Projects Director
Darren has over 30 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering.

Hayley Vickers
Head of Accounts
Hayley is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Group.

Debbie Blackwell
Head of HR
Debbie is Meel Group's Head of HR, she has a wealth of experience in talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development.

Peter Swales
Electrical Project Manager
With over four decades of experience in the electrical contracting industry, Peter is a seasoned Senior Project Manager known for successfully leading complex commercial and industrial projects from concept to completion. Skilled in project management, budgeting, team leadership, health and safety and client relations.

Andrew Dunkerley
Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Andrew is a timed-served plumber who has worked in different sectors of the mechanical engineering industry for over 17 years.

Max Rodgers
Mechanical Project Estimator
Max joined the Meel Group with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from LJMU. He has worked across a variety of sectors, including Education, Commercial, and Healthcare, bringing fresh energy and technical expertise to every project.

Raymond Churk
Mechanical Project Estimator
Raymond, an experienced Mechanical Estimator, worked on many large-scale M&E projects in Hong Kong - sectors including Transport, Commercial Buildings and Healthcare.

Graham Goring
Electrical Project Estimator
Graham joined the Meel Group and has over 40 years of experience as an electrical estimator. He has experience in many sectors, including Industrial, Education and Healthcare.

Sue Bauer
Pre and Post Contract Support Lead
With an extensive background in operations and project management, Sue manages our Pre & Post support team, providing invaluable guidance and support to the PMs, internal departments, and our clients during and after their projects with Meel Group.

Our client list includes leading main contractors such as Cumberbirch, Carefoot, DH Welton, Warden and Novus plus public sector bodies including Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and East Cheshire NHS Trust.
Meel Group Projects are proud to be an NHS SBS Framework contractor for Hard Facilities Management. We were awarded the framework agreement in April 2022.
